BARELY BRANDED

This is a review for the much hyped colour tattoos by Maybelline. The colour I have is Barely Branded which is from the permanent metal collection. I had been waiting for aaaaaages since the first few reviews of the metal collection had come out for these to be released in Australia. The lag makes my die inside sometimes, and sometimes things don't even get released here! Anyways, I love the colour tattoos and this is my review on my long awaited Barely Branded

Review: The Face Shop Me : Ex Blush

This is a review of a blush OR202 from the Me : Ex line from The Face Shop. The Face Shop (TFS) is a korean brand that is known for their cosmetics and skincare. I usually use blush with light hand, being scared to overdose and gets stripes of pink over my cheeks. And with the horrible lighting in my bedroom, i can never tell if i get it right, forcing me to move to different locations all over the house for the right lighting. This is a great blush, click for more of my thoughts on it ....

Review: Sigma Kabuki Brush set

I've wanted to get the sigma f80 or f82 for a long time, especially with the ongoing raves it gets from blogs and youtubers. This is an unsponsored post btw, as I know a lot of people who review these are part of some kind of loyalty program with sigma. I bought these brushes through www.redefiningbeauty.com.au which is an Australian retailer for sigma brushes while they were having a  promotion. This set of four brushes costs $62 on the site right now.

Review: Olay Moisturising Lotion

Today I'm going to be reviewing my everyday moisturiser. This is a great moisturiser that has been round for a loooooooong time. It's a variant of their iconic Olay Beauty Fluid. For some reason I couldn't find the beauty fluid anywhere despite the fact that it's not discontinued.  It claims to

Replenish skin with moisture that soothes dryness without leaving behind a greasy feel.
• Moisturise to reveal softer, smoother, and more supple skin
• Restore natural beauty of skin
• Help diminish appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

Review: Nivea Lip Butter in Vanilla & Macadamia

So this is a review on the quite-hyped-up lip butters form Nivea. I'd heard lots of rave reviews on this lip butter, so when Priceline was having a 30% off all Nivea product, I snapped it up. At first I wanted to get the caramel kiss one, but it was all out of stock at my Priceline so I grabbed the vanilla & macadamia kiss flavour.

Review: Face of Australia Budgeproof Gel Eyeliner

This is a review on what has become my favourite eyeliner at the moment :)
It is the Face of Australia Budge proof gel liner, which is an Australian brand. I've had it for maybe 4-5 months I think. Since then, whenever I wear eyeliner it will usually be this one.

The ultra-smooth, pigment rich formula provides the precision of a liquid liner that's easy to apply with the built in fool-proof brush. Create thick or thin lines that are perfect every time.

Review: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains

This will be an overview of the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm stains which were released in Australia in November 2012. I managed to grab 6 during a buy one get one free promotion.   All the shades I bought were in around about the same color families. The Revlon website describes them as:
  • A pampering balm fused with a lightweight lipstain in an adorable chubby crayon.
  • For softer, smoother lips with a perfect flush of colour that lasts hour after hour.
  • No sharpener needed, retractable tip.
  • Light peppermint fragrance..
  • For medium buildable coverage.

The shades I've got are : 035 Charmed, 001 Honey, 010 Darling, 010 Cherish, 020 Lovesick and 045 Romantic.

Review: Sukin facial moisturizer

With cold weather settling in earlier this year the heaters have also been turned on early. It is hard to maintain my face moisturized with heaters and cold wind blowing constantly. Rachel might be able to recall me sitting indoors with APPLE RED CHEEKS. I'm not even kidding! My face gets so dry that it would be flaking, red AND itchy. So I went to hunt for moisturizers last week and bought this;
Facial Moisturizer by Sukin, a local Australian brand.

The actual bottle is a more brown colour.

Nails of the Week

Nail Polish colours used:
Opi Pompeii Purple
Unbranded white nail polish

Tools:
Dotting tool
Striper

I started off painting a base of white on all my nails. For my pinky and pointer finger I painted two coats of Pompeii Purple over the white; for the other three nails I added another two layers of white polish.
To do the nail art, i took a nail striper and drew one long swirl up the side of the nail. After that I just did some random tendrils and coils coming off the first swirl. A small dotting tool was used to draw dots along the curves of the vines.

Comment if you'd like to see some sort of tutorial :)

Review: Benefit High Beam

I've had this bottle of High Beam for a while now - maybe a year or so? I was first drawn to it due to the HG status it seemed to have around the blogosphere, so I stole this unused bottle from my mum. It is pearly pink in colour and is a relatively liquid facial highlighter. It comes in a little nail polish style bottle which I think is quite cute. It retails for around $45 in Australia for the 13ml. A little goes a long way and you only need a tiny bit each time.

It is described as:
"... supermodel in a bottle! ... this pearlised pink highlighter is the make-up artists secret for a natural dewy glow on all skin tones. Use it as a spot highlighter or blend all over your complexion...the soft-focus sheen is enticing and sexy."

Review: Skinfood Black Sugar Mask

Hi all! This is a review of Black Sugar wash off mask by Skinfood. A popular brand of skincare, makeup and body care from South Korea.

I actually had this mask for several months now, I figured if I don't do a review soon, it'll be ages before I remember to review this.
