Hi all! This is a review of Black Sugar wash off mask by Skinfood. A popular brand of skincare, makeup and body care from South Korea.
I actually had this mask for several months now, I figured if I don't do a review soon, it'll be ages before I remember to review this.
The mask has a little minty/lemony/lemon grassy scent to it, rather than the scent of black sugar....well, those who had black sugar tea will understand what I'm talking about.
Containg 100g of mask, the side of the mask container says;
Black sugar mask with rich minerals and vitamins to provide luster and smoothness to skin.So, many(including myself) use this mask as an exfoliator as well as...well, a mask. I scoop it out with a plastic spoon(pity it doesn't come with one) and apply it with my fingers, avoiding the eye and mouth area.
The temperature of the skin does warm up the mask and melt some of the black sugar in it(making the consistency runnier), then gently massaging my face with my fingers and leave it on for 10 minutes. NOTE: Please please PLEASE be gentle! It WOULD hurt if you're using too much strengh!
Washing off with warm water, it leaves the skin feeling soft and supple~Then finish off with a moisturiser, viola!
Here is a swatch of the mask(in the end I was just trying to get the excess off...sorry ><)
This is sold on eBay around 10-15AUD
